During my 2025 Job Search I’ve had to prepare a few presentations. This is the first time I haven’t had access to Microsoft PowerPoint which has been really hard to work around. LibreOffice Impress and Apple Keynote don’t even come close in quality. Normally this would be fine, but I think for something as important as landing a new job having the best Tools at your disposal is essential.
I started building out a new presentation in Keynote, and it was basic but high quality which seemed good enough until I referenced my PowerPoint that I used to get hired at Blue Origin. It was pretty clear that I just didn’t have the tools to create what I needed.
