Today was WWDC 2025, and Apple released new OS’s for all of their devices that are interesting for a few reasons:

Liquid Crystal design style seems like an accessibility downgrade.
The version for all platforms is now 26
The MacOS upgrade seems significant
- Continuity with iPhone is massively upgraded
- Tons of new features added to spotlight
  - You can now call any command that is in the title bar for any app
- Metal upgrades
  - I do a lot of League of Legends gaming on my M4 Mac Mini and M4 Macbook Pro so this might be an upgrade for me
Apple Intelligence seems to be getting upgraded soonish
I like new toys and what would make my 2025 Job Search more fun than breaking all my software.
I’m looking forward to messing with Apple Container

Orion Browser won’t load anything at all
- Someone on Discord found that the compact tabs setting fixes it
- Took the team like 12 hours to push a fix
My iPhone 14 Pro is showing its age
- As time goes on performance is improving which is pretty typical of Apple OS updates.
The shadow windows leave is really buggy
Making images spatial on the iPhone 14 Pro is incredibly slow
- This got way better after a reboot
automix is pretty broken on airplay
- its actually just broken in general

Apple Music automix feature is really heavy but pretty cool
The new iPhone lock screen is really nice
I like the design language a lot more than I thought I would
- Major quirk is a colored element going under a button and it looking like the button just had a call to action
New Apple Photos app is a huge improvement, they managed to merge the old and new layouts
Spatial photos are way better than anything else I’ve seen
Apple Fitness didn’t bug me to stop my outdoor walk while my dog was moseying around the park like it usually does.

Overall probably the most stable beta of the past few years which is surprising given the amount of changes.

The new super stretched out time that goes behind parts of your lockscreen is super buggy and is usually the default size

Spotlight shows that apps on my iPhone can be opened, but nothing happens when I try.

AirPlay is really broken on my Sonos System
