Bought an external enclosure for my M4 Mac Mini

Enclosure just died. The computer was on but idling. Tried plugging it into my M4 Macbook Pro and it also wouldn’t power on. Tried a few other cables as well and nothing would work.
The enclosure has a LED on it so I think rules out that the SSD is dead, but I don’t just have those lying around to swap out.
Send support an email, based on Reddit discussions I don’t have high hopes in getting a response soon.

Called them. They claimed that I would have gotten an automated response to my email after I reached out to them. I definitely haven’t gotten one but once they looked it up they found my email and confirmed that a support case was never generated. They agreed to RMA the enclosure.
Its been about half an hour since the call and I have no updates in my inbox :/
45 minutes later I got the email.
mail the unit to us (we do not provide pre-paid shipping labels for manufacture claims). Once we receive the defective unit, we can test it, and mail a replacement.
I don’t have a lot of hope in this, but fingers crossed they are quick.
